1951 Classic Chevrolet "Styleline Business Coupe"

Chevrolet and most automobile manufacturers of the 1940s and 1950s all produced what was called a business coupe. These stripped down models without a back seat was the low cost cars in the Chevy line up for 1951.

They were used for years by traveling salesmen to carry their sample cases of merchandise. Chevrolet sold 17,020 business coupes in the production year, 1951.

At a cost of $1460.00 they were the cheapest Chevy car. The 1951 Chevrolet Station Wagon was the most expensive at $2191.00.
