Chrome rear gravel shields and painted fender skirts were standard equipment on all deluxe models including the Fleetline. In addition stainless windshield reveal moldings and rear window reveal moldings were back once again on the 1951 Chevy coupes and sedans. The moldings outlined the windshield and rear window glass. Another molding followed the top curve of the doors and quarter windows on all 1951 Chevy delux sedans and coupes.

Referring to the automatic transmission introduced with the 1950 Chevrolet and the 105 horsepower Chevrolet valve-in-head engine. This combination gave the Deluxe 1951 Chevy car more power than any other engine in the entire low-price field.
1951 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe 4 Door Sedan 1951 Chevy Fastback / 1951 Chevrolet 4 Door The model number for the 1951 Chevrolet four door sedan Fleetline Deluxe was 1553 and cost $1594.00 with a production figure of only 3,364 units. Slightly more 2 door sedans (model number 1552) were produced than the 1951 Chevrolet four door Fleetline Deluxe. With a production figure of 6,441 that was 2 times more Fleetline Deluxe units than Fleetline Specials. The Fleetline was also referred to as a 1951 Chevrolet Fastback.
